This romantic Houston wedding at Big Sky Barn

was filled with heartfelt moments, rustic charm, and the kind of golden Texas light photographers dream about.


I had the honor of capturing this special day for Sam and Jason as an associate shooter for Emily Chappell Productions, and every detail reflected the couple’s deep love and strong faith. One of the most powerful parts of the ceremony was when the bride and groom invited all their guests to the altar to pray over them—a beautiful and emotional moment that created a feeling of unity and warmth throughout the entire space. Big Sky Barn, with its stunning wooden beams and forest backdrop, offered the perfect setting for such a meaningful celebration.


As golden hour approached, we stepped outside for the couple’s portraits, and the timing couldn’t have been more ideal. The soft sunset glow filtered through the trees, casting a dreamy light that brought a romantic, almost cinematic feel to each image. The day ended with a fun and whimsical bubble exit, as guests cheered the newlyweds on into the evening.
